RELIC COLLECT / PRIVACY

Relic Collect privacy.

Privacy information for Relic Collect, developed by Relic Works Studio LLC. Based on the app policy effective October 18, 2026; company and website information updated October 20, 2026.

1. Information we collect and process

Account and profile information

When you create or access an account, we process your email address, account identifier, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, and optional profile information such as a display name or profile photo.

Collection details and values

We process the collectible information you choose to enter, scan, or import, including names, categories, sets, numbers, conditions, grades, quantities, notes, tags, images, prices, market valuations, and relevant timestamps. Collection holdings and values may constitute personal asset-related financial information. Information saved to your account may be stored in our cloud service to support synchronization and recovery.

Photos, scans, and optional processing

When you choose to upload a photo, save collection artwork, use photo identification or AI Assist, or remove a photo background, we may process the chosen image, recognized text, and related collectible details to carry out your request. Saved collection photos may be stored in private, account-associated cloud storage. Optional processing can transmit selected images or relevant details through our backend to an image or AI service provider. Some edited copies and temporary files may also be stored on your device.

Search and pricing requests

We process collectible search terms and price-lookup requests to return matching items, artwork, and available market information. Searches and results may be cached temporarily on your device or in our services to improve speed and reduce repeated provider requests. Account-associated search data can be linked to your account; shared provider caches may use search terms without an account-specific history.

Premium subscriptions

If you view, purchase, restore, or use Relic Collect Premium, we process purchase and subscription information such as transaction identifiers, entitlements, product identifiers, renewal or expiration status, and an associated app account identifier. Apple handles App Store payment processing. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

Operational and security information

We and our infrastructure providers may process limited technical information such as network addresses, request timestamps, request status, service errors, and security or diagnostic logs. Some such records can be associated with an account identifier. We use these records to protect the service, investigate failures, and maintain reliability.

2. Why we use information

  • Create and authenticate accounts, support email confirmation and password recovery, and keep collections separate between users.
  • Store, display, edit, synchronize, export, back up, or delete the collection details and images you choose to save.
  • Provide collectible discovery, search, available market valuations, optional photo processing, and AI-assisted features.
  • Verify subscriptions, restore purchases, provide Premium entitlements, and understand subscription transactions and performance.
  • Respond to support requests, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain the security, performance, and availability of Relic Collect.
  • Meet applicable legal requirements.

We do not sell your personal information or use the information described in this policy to track you across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

3. Service providers

To operate the app, information may be processed by the following providers, as relevant to the feature you use:

  • Supabase — account authentication, collection data, and private cloud photo storage.
  • Render — hosting the application backend and handling operational and security requests.
  • Apple and RevenueCat — App Store purchases, subscription receipts, Premium entitlements, and related subscription analytics.
  • OpenAI — optional AI-assisted collectible identification, analysis, and image safety checks where enabled.
  • PhotoRoom — optional image background removal when you request it and the feature is available.
  • Collectible catalog, artwork, and market-data providers, including TCGGraph and PriceCharting where available — collectible lookup, images, and pricing information.

Only information needed to deliver a requested feature or operate the relevant service is intended to be shared. Providers may process information under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments. We do not intentionally send account passwords to artwork or pricing providers.

4. Retention

Account information and saved cloud collections are generally retained while your account remains active or while needed to provide the service, unless you delete them. Search caches, temporary processing files, and local copies have separate, limited lifetimes and may be removed or refreshed automatically. Some information can remain in backups, provider systems, security logs, or records needed for service recovery or legal compliance for an additional period, according to the relevant operational and legal requirements.

5. Your choices and account deletion

You decide whether to provide profile information, add or upload photos, save collectibles, import collection files, or use optional photo and AI-processing features. You can manage supported photo permissions in iOS Settings, edit or delete saved collectibles in the app, and use the available collection export features.

You can request permanent account deletion from Settings → Account → Delete Account within Relic Collect. This removes your Relic account access and associated cloud collection information as described by the account-deletion process, subject to limited retention needed for security, recovery, or legal requirements. To request help with access, deletion, or privacy choices, email [email protected].

Relic Collect is presented here in development. Relic Display is a separate hardware product in development; this website does not promise released hardware connectivity.

6. Security

We use authenticated access, account-level data separation, private storage for supported user photos, and other protective measures intended to limit unauthorized access. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Relic Collect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, please contact us so we can review and respond.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when Relic Collect's features or information-handling practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide any notice required by applicable law.

9. Contact

For privacy questions, account-deletion support, or data requests, contact Relic Works Studio LLC at [email protected].

Website privacy and subscriptions

This policy covers Relic Collect, a product of Relic Works Studio LLC. See our separate website privacy policy for email inquiries and launch updates. Deleting your RELIC account does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription; manage subscriptions through Apple.
